Have you ever watched a movie that was so funny you would struggle to catch your breath? “The Other Guys” will do just that.

“The Other Guys” is based on a partnership of two police detectives that have different views of their job. One being a thrill seeking Officer Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) and the other a more timid office junky detective Officer Gamble (Will Ferrell). As they work together to try to solve one of the biggest cases in their department’s existence.

An area the directors did outstanding would be the casting for the film. The two main characters work so well together and played their roles extremely well. The supporting cast also did a great job in creating a great movie.  The film was highly successful in the casting.

Another area the directors did very well would be creating a great comedy movie with many comedic elements. They used great items to create a true laughter fest, such as a red Prius for the police car used. They also had many funny remarks made by the actors that helped create memorable film.

This movie is recommended to anybody that is in need of a good laugh. “The Other Guys” deserves a rating of  4.5 out of 5 stars and is enjoyable to watch again and again.
