Universal Studios is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida. The park originally opened on July 15, 1964 and about 25,000 employees are needed to keep the park running. 

Universal Studios tickets can be purchased on their website and day passes cost $164.00. This is one of the more expensive parks, where annual passes can range from $754.99 to $539.99 depending on if you purchase the one or two park pass. The park is also known to put on shows as one of its attractions, like Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration. During the amazing light show, you will experience different aspects of movies like “Jurassic World,” “Fast & Furious,” and “Despicable Me.”

One of the main attractions that brings in many people is the Harry Potter section of the park. One ride in particular is called Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts; it’s a ride many Harry Potter fans come to the park for. The height requirement for the ride is a minimum of 42 inches in order to keep the rider safe. The experience is described to be thrilling, motion simulation, and a 3-D / 4-D experience. A fun fact about this attraction is that the four chandeliers inside combined have 62,000 crystals. 

Another thing that pulls people into the park is the Despicable Me section/ride. The specific ride in particular is called Despicable Me Minion Mayhem; it’s what a lot of the younger kids who come to the park can enjoy. With a minimum height of 40 inches, the ride is listed for everyone to enjoy. The motion simulation ride where you are recruited by Gru’s, and you will become an actual Minion. One aspect of the ride the younger guests of the park enjoy is the dance party with the minions. 

Universal Studios has been rated anywhere from a 4.4 to a 4.8 out of 5 stars. The highly rated park has great rides and is recommended by its visitors.
