The Cleveland Guardians and pitcher Shane Beiber reached an agreement of $10.1 million.

Beiber led the Guardians to a 13-8 record and was leading Cleveland’s pitching staff. With this new contract, he is under team control for two more years.

The Guardians also signed deals with shortstop Amed Rosario, pitchers Cal Quantrill, Zach Plesac and Aaron Civale and first baseman Josh Naylo.

Rosario proved to be one of the best Cleveland players; he batted .283 with 11 homers and 71 RBIs.

Quantrill had an amazing season going 15-5 and with a 3.38 ERA and was even perfect at home going 9-0.

Plesac had a rough season; he went 3-12 with a 4.31 ERA.

Civale spent last year with a dictionary of injuries, all through that manager Terry Francona started him in the game 5 of the AL division series against the New York Yankees.

Naylor was another player that proved he is one of Cleveland’s best, coming off a broken ankle and still had a great season batting .256 with 79 RBIs.
