Rocco Garchar is making the most of his senior year on the basketball court.

Senior Rocco Garchar is a student athlete at Struthers High School. He has been playing basketball for fifteen years now.

Garchar is ready for his final year of high school basketball.

The boys’ basketball team is starting off 8-6. This season, there are only 4 returning seniors including Garchar.

The shooting guard feels the team did well during the Lakeview game.

“I feel the team did really well, and we have high expectations,” says Garchar.

Playing basketball, there are likes and dislikes about it. After fifteen years, you learn to love the sport.

The athlete likes what the sport brings to him and the team.

“I like everything about the sport and what it brings,” says the basketball player.

It’s the senior’s last year with the Wildcats. He is hoping this year is special for them all. They all hope for another NE8 Championship win.

Garchar wants his last year to be something memorable.

“I feel like we can win out and do something special,” says Garchar.

The Wildcats won their last game against Girard with a score of 56-54.
