The Bulldogs blew out TCU in the National Championship.

The College Football National Championship was held on Monday, January 9th as the Georgia Bulldogs plowed over the TCU Horn Frogs for back-to-back championships.

Georgia is once again on top of the college football world as they won 65-7 in the national championship–which is not a typo.

Kirby Smart had a strong message to Georgia fans as he was a guest on the Georgia football podcast.

Smart uses wise words about Stentson Bennet through the podcast.

“He’s meant a lot to me personally, because of what he’s gone through, what he’s put up with from the outside noise. But to this university–for a kid that was told he wasn’t good enough, to come back and win two national championships–he’s really phenomenal,” says Smart about Bennet.

Bennet, Georgia’s G.O.A.T., ended his career with the greatest performance while going 18-of-25 passing for 304 yards and produced six touchdowns (two rushing) across the largest blowout in the CFP.

Bennet has cemented himself as one of the best quarterbacks in Bulldogs history.

“I’ve been along for three years; we brought back pretty much the entire core of our offense from last year, so we were all clicking. We had a really good offense. It makes me proud of what I’ve accomplished when I hear that because it means I’ve done some things right,” says Bennet.

A lot of skeptics were going after Georgia saying they are going 7-5 after losing 15 players to the NFL draft. Georgia left zero doubt this season and proved everyone in the college football world wrong.

This fueled linebacker Nolan Smith with anger and gave them that extra chip on their shoulder that they needed.

“They thought we were gonna go 7-5, we ended up perfect,” outside linebacker Nolan Smith told Maria Martin of 11Alive. “I can talk trash now cause I’m done. I’m a #Dawg for life and I will always be a Dawg,” says Smith.

As this season comes to an end, college football in 2023 is going to get crazy in these next upcoming months with new commits and the best of the best entering the transfer portal.
