Struthers High School Football Team is in round two of playoffs with the Game of the Week. The Wildcats will face the West Branch Warriors.

Anthony Carter was ready to break the branch for Week 12.

Struthers football team was very lucky this week to have their first Game of the Week of the 2022-2023 season.

Junior Anthony Carter, who plays running back and safety, was pumped up about the game.

“It put an extra drive in me to do better so we could win,” says Carter.

West Branch is ranked the number one seed in the division while Struthers is eight. Going against the number one seed can be intimidating to some.

Carter believes in his team and hopes to pull through a win.

“I believe we can win if we stop Drew Shields and have no mistakes,” says the football player.

Friday nights go by very fast. You should always make the moments last. Everyone loves the Friday night lights.

The running back has a favorite part of Friday nights.

“My favorite is coming out before the game starts, the lights are on, and the fans are cheering,” says Carter.

The Wildcats unfortunately took a loss Friday night to the Warriors, making their season come to an end.
