The wide receiver would love a playoff game at home for his last year.

“It would mean the world to me that being able to beat them at home with a home playoff game on the line would mean that much more,” said Ekoniak.

The Struthers football team is on a four game winning streak the game Friday can make or break their streak.

Ekoniak is feeling good about the game and is hoping to win.

“I’m feeling good about the game. I think we prepared ourselves really well and I don’t know any teams that want to play us right now with the run that we’re on,” says Ekoniak.

Friday nights are fun for the team and school to celebrate. Seeing how the crowd goes crazy is always a good thing to see.

The Safety loves to celebrate with his teammates.

“My favorite part about Friday is celebrating with my teammates in the endzone,” said Ekoniak.
