If the Pittsburgh Steelers do not start paying better, they will have their first losing season with Mike Tomlin as head coach.

After starting off the season 1-4, they had an important win and defeated the Buccaneers 20-18.

So far they have lost to the Jets, Browns, Patriots and Bills.

The Steelers have the fifth best odds to have the first pick overall.

“We were a disaster in all three phases, we have to own that, starting with myself and I do,” says Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin.

Tomlin has been head coach of the Steelers for 14 seasons including this one, and this is the worst start yet.

“When it’s bad across the board, it starts with me. We don’t need to seek comfort because there’s enough blame to go around. We need to be solution oriented,” says Tomlin.

Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett has also been having a rough start.

In the three games that he has played, he has thrown for 514 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.

“I’ve got to take ownership of this loss. I’m the quarterback of the team. They drafted me in the first round for a reason. And I wanted to be the guy. There’s a lot more things that come with that, and the road doesn’t get any easier from here. So it has to be fixed, and fixed quickly,” says Pickett.

This week the Steelers play the 3-3 Dolphins this week, and they need a win for playoff hopes.
