The Struthers Wildcats have been on a hot streak, winning four straight games and even upsetting Girard in a game to clinch the playoffs.

Over these past weeks, the Cats have really picked it up, winning their last four games.

The Wildcats had a slow start winning only one out of five games, but they have been making up for their slow start going 4-0 in their last four games. Even with the slow start to the season, the Wildcats refused to give up and have now clinched the playoffs.

Coach John Bayuk thinks the change in season was caused because the players continued to work hard and not give up.

“I think we got better by the whole team choosing not to give up and choosing the path to get better,” says Coach Bayuk.

The Cats have become better players as a team and grew as players, learning more as they play and gaining more experience in the process.

Bayuk thinks the team has grown in many ways from the beginning of the season to now.

“We definitely have grown up on and off the field and that’s translating onto the field,” says the coach.

The Cats have been on a rampage these last four weeks. Maintaining a spot in the playoffs, they have been playing out of this world recently.

Coach Bayuk has big goals for the Wildcats now that they’ve made it to the playoffs.

“My goal is to keep going and get as far as we can,” says Bayuk.

The Struthers Wildcats have high hopes for the rest of the season and have high expectations for the playoffs.
