TAKING A TRIP TO KENNYWOOD

Kennywood is an amusement park located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The park originally opened on May 30, 1899 and about 80 acres of land is used to make up the park.

Kennywood amusement park has many different rides, roller coasters and even some water rides. The park has different types of events depending on the season. One event that is happening now is “Dogtober Fest” on October 22, 2022. This is a Halloween-themed parade with people and their dogs. Tickets cost $102 for a season pass or $30 when you buy two or more one time use tickets.

Their main Halloween event going on now is “Phantom Fall Fest.” The event takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. As the sun goes down and the day turns night, there are seven haunted houses and four scare zones. This is a great, different and interactive way to celebrate the holiday with the guests at the park.

The park has different rides that rank among the best in the world. The Phantom’s Revenge ride is an intense roller coaster ride that goes 85 miles per hour. The ride has a 232 feet drop and has 3,365 feet of track. The ride requires you to be at least 48 inches tall to ride the ride. People love the ride and how intense the speed and drops are.

Kennywood has been rated anywhere from a 4.0 to a 4.8 out of 5 stars. The highly rated park has great rides and is recommended by its visitors.
